Are you dumb or something? That reads ''M'', then ''B'', then the G-O-L-D is Gold. Say it with me: ''MB Gold''. Yay!

Super Smash Brothers Melee:
Event Matches

Note about event matches: As you clear more of these, you will unlock more events.

Event Match 1:
This event match is very simple, all you have to do is defeat bowser and you're done.

Event Match 2:
This fight is quite easy as well. As big donkey kong, always use down+a or down+b moves, and remember who you're fighting.

Event Match 3:
This Event should be easy as long as you remember to jump a lot and keep moving. Then you won't get hit by all the explosives. Using a heavy character is strongly recommended.

Event Match 4:
Try to lure Yoshi off the side of the screen. He'll fall for it sometimes. Otherwise use normal attacks.

Event Match 5:
Hit Captain Falcon in rapid succession and get as many coins as quickly as you can.

Event Match 6:
Just use normal tactics here. I mean come on, they're little!

Event Match 7:
Grab as many pokeballs as you can at the beginning, and you'll have the advantage.

Event Match 8:
Come, fight, win. End of story

Event Match 9:
Do what the title says and wait for the change. Oh yeah, and stay on the big platform or the turtle.

Event Match 10:
The computers are pretty easy here. Just use who you are the best with and plow through them. :-)

Event Match 11:
Use a player who can jump well here. That way you can avoid the ice climbers and avoid being killed by the screen.

Event Match 12:
Use Captain Falcon's B move.

Event Match 13:
Make sure you hover a lot, and never let the egg out of your sight. When the screen moves, move with it!

Event Match 14:
Try luring the other players off the edges, or come at them hard with a heavy hard hitting character.

Event Match 15:
Use normal tactics and keep in mind that you are smaller then they are and that this is a small playing field.

Event Match 16:
This one takes a bit of practice at first, but once you figure out warp stars you'll have no problem.

Event Match 17:
Practice with Samus a bit before this one if you aren't familiar with her. It will help you a lot. And make sure you throw bowser around and try to corner him.

Event Match 18:
Use the same strategy as the previous event.

Event Match 19:
Only intervene when you have to. I've found that this event can take care of itself.

Event Match 20:
Don't lose any lives until you get to Captain Falcon.

Event Match 21:
Keep on throwing them! Come on, how hard is it to KO ice climbers?

Event Match 22:
Let them come to you!

Event Match 23:
Use their jumps to your advantage. You can see them clearly when they jump. Make sure you always know where they are. It is a small playing field and they'll gang up on you.

Event Match 24:
You'll need to use a fast character here. Keep in mind that the Yoshis will attempt to avoid you.

Event Match 25:
Lure Giant Dk off edges

Event Match 26:
Try to lure them off edges, and don't let them corner you!

Event Match 27:
This one is more difficult, but try to corner them and jump around, and hopefully they'll kill themselves a few times.

Event Match 28:
This title is an oxymoron. Well anyhow, Let them come to you and defend yourself valiantly.

Event Match 29:
Show Ganondorf what you're made of. Go at him hard. And make sure to protect Zelda, as she'll protect you as well. Work as a team.

Event Match 30:
One life for Kirby and Pikachu, one life for Ness and Ice Climbers. Stick to this philosphy.

To unlock events 31-39, you must unlock Falco, Young Link, Dr. Mario, Jigglypuff, and Luigi.

Event 31:
Use melee tactics my friend. All you have to do is keep your score above theirs. Try to isolate them.

Event 32:
Do what the title says. Throw Jiggly around quite a bit. It will aid you. Also, try to hit jiggly as fast as you can.

Event 33:
When the warning comes, jump on top of the platform. If you're an ace at the one in adventure mode, you'll be an ace at this one too. Just keep in mind that the cars come more often.

Event 34:
Stay on the center platform and use Young Link's agility to your advantage. Use down+B a lot. You may also be able to lure link off the edge, but that is very risky.

Event 35:
Once you kill one, the other is a piece of cake. Try to isolate them and kill one quickly.

Event 36:
Conserve your energies for the last couple of battles. Try to take as little damage as possible until then. This event will take experience as Ness.

Event 37:
Gain the early advantage by opening as many pokéballs as you possibly can. After that the rest is a piece of cake.

Event 38:
Stay away from the edges, and try to lure them towards the edges! Otherwise use your best character with regular melee tactics.

Event 39:
Use lots of Smash Attacks.

To unlock events 40-50, you must have unlocked all the secret characters.

Event 40:
Save your energies for the last 2-3 battles, as they get harder. Remember to use the character you have the most experience with.

Event 41:
Marth has faster sword play then Link, you need to get in close and use this to your advantage. Make extra use of Marth's smash attack.

Event 42:
This isn't really all that hard. Get in close and attack quickly.

Event 43:
A lot of the computers will kill themselves in Big Blue, but make sure you don't do this to yourself!

Event 44:
Yup. You can't kill Zelda. Stop fretting and hit her hard. Then kill Mewtwo as quickly as possible.

Event 45:
Let them come to you.....

Event 46:
Use Marth or Roy. Let them come to you and use your B on them. Also use your A smash.

Event 47:
Same tactics as other trophy tussles. You'll need to use the avoidance tactic more here though.

Event 48:
Seperate the Pichus from Pikachu, as you can't kill Pikachu. Use the platforms for cover and use smash attacks on the pichus.

Event 49:
The hardest one yet. Make sure to conserve lives, and avoid them as much as possible.

Event Match 50:
Ganondorf's double kicks (smash up+A) deal some serious damage, and he is heavy without being clumsy. It also is prudent to find your own method.

Event Match 51:
Giga Bowser makes a wonderful target for Jigglypuff's rest, and takes just two hits before flying off the stage. Then you can knock out Ganondorf and Mewtwo with rollout--just be sure you don't do it from so far away that they meet your attack. Another choice is Marth, who works well because he can slice up Giga Bowser jumping from end to end, then just smashing side+A into Ganondorf and Mewtwo is easy. And finally, the Kirby tactic. Use Kirby and jump off the ledge. Float up just enough to grab the ledge again, and then jump off again. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Eventually both Giga Bowser and Ganondorf will kill themselves. After that, killing Mewtwo is easy. Diagram:

Float into the platform so they can't hit you.
