 Yoshi's Island
Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and Yoshi's Story all take place here. In the bottom left corner you see Yoshi's Island, starting point for SMW and entire setting for SMW2YI. There is also an island [not shown on the map], a bit farther west of Yoshi's Island, called Yo'ster's Isle, that is in Super Mario RPG.

Yoshi was first discovered on Yoshi's Island, so he's called Yoshi. But why is Yoshi's Island called Yoshi's Island then?
